* ENG: The sea anemones in the Blokkendam photo's look quite atypical for this species, but the colour and colour pattern of the 4 specimens in total (1 not in the photo) are identical. Given the column (not in the photo) they are not Cylista elegans (Sagartia e.). You will not find identical specimens of Cylista troglodytes (Sagartia t.) together and in close proximity. Although the animals in the photo appear to be living in sand - not the usual habitat for this species - the biotope of the Blokkendam is very dynamic and there is probably a stone right under the layer of sand.

* NL: De zeeanemonen op de Blokkendam foto's ogen vrij atypisch voor deze soort, maar kleur en kleurpatroon van de in totaal 4 exemplaren (1 niet op foto) zijn identiek. Het zijn - gezien de zuil (niet op foto) - geen Cylista elegans (Sagartia e.). Van Cylista troglodytes (Sagartia t.) vind je geen identieke exemplaren bij elkaar en niet zo dicht op elkaar. Hoewel de dieren op de foto in het zand lijken te zitten - niet het gewone habitat voor deze soort - is het biotoop van de Blokkendam erg dynamisch en ligt er vermoedelijk een steen pal onder de laag zand.
